Help!!

So, I'm pretty sure that Owen is a colicky baby. Jackson wasn't & so this is all new to me. I can't believe how long he can cry!! Today it was pretty much all day & I know that doesn't fit the "rule of 3's" mold (starting at 3 weeks, for 3 hours, lasting for 3 weeks or something like that)- but it even effected him getting any kind of a nap. So, just short of wanting to run out of this house screaming- what should I do?? I know to take him outside etc... but nothing else seems to make a difference. Walking, bouncing, rocking, nursing, burping, different kinds of holds, the swing, the bouncy seat- nothing seemed to calm this child for more than 10 minutes tops. I finally had to put him in the crib and shut the door. Poor Jackson has to listen to it all day long as well & not get any mommy time whatsoever. This is just the beginning of Matt's work week & so I'm dreading the next few days. This all started at 5am this morning. I actually don't feel that sleepy- just worn out from all the crying. I feel so badly for him! Anyone else experience this & does it really wear itself out around 6 weeks? I pray so. He's been in the crib long enough- time to get Matt up!

I'm sorry to hear about your struggle. I was a colicky baby. My mom used to make sure I was fed and dry, then put me in my crib and go outside to water the lawn. You need to find a place in or around the house that you and Jackson can go so that you don't hear the crying.
My mom also used to put me in my car seat and go for a ride. That seemed to work.
    Good luck! Stay strong!
