Big 6 Month Old!
I can't believe Owen's already 6 months old today. A 1/2 a year already?? Seems impossible. Things have been rough around here for the most part, but Owen was most definitely brought into my life at this very specific time for very specific reasons. God definitely doesn't make mistakes, nor does anything on accident.
Even though I don't sleep a lot, I daily find joy and delight in every little thing he does, and discovers. Especially all the new flavors in his diet! He's babbling & laughing over everything. He is the happiest child I have ever known. He wakes up from naps & in the morning excited to see me & especially his brother! He's not crawling yet, but gets where he wants to go just fine! I wouldn't even call it combat crawling, it's just amazing to watch. He loves to sit up, espcially in the bath & splash like crazy. He still flops from time to time so he's not quite "on his own" with that yet. I can hardly wait for each new discovery, and yet I can because it means that daily my baby is getting older.
Jackson is so good at taking care of Owen it's amazing. He takes care of me as well. Almost daily he tells me, "Don't worry mommy, I will take care of you," and that he loves me- completely out of the blue. What more could a mama ask for?
These two little guys hold my heart in the palm of their little hands daily. I don't know where I'd be without these two precious souls.
** Went to the Dr. today. Owen measured 29" long (well off the chart for height) and was 20lbs, 7oz (actually on the chart, like 95%)!! Warned you the stats would be impressive. Jackson has been off the charts for height since he was 3 months old and yet Owen is almost a full 2 inches longer than Jackson was at this age! Look out!**
It's been awhile since I have seen pics of the boy's only since I haven't been able to log on seems like forever.Owen looks like he's going to be a big boy from the looks of his pics. I'm pretty sure being an independent thinker isn't a boy thing Sam is just very creative, and rarley makes our life boring. She keeps us on our feet that's for sure. You guys our pretty lucky that at least Jackson isn't the adventurous one. I hope Avon works out too I wouldn't call it a thing it's not like a hobby , but it wouldn't be a career choice for me either. I'm starting my online courses next month I am so glad to finally get that started. I'll finish early next summer if all goes well.I'm confident that it will I don't let things go for to long I'm way to impaitent for that. I changed the blog I really didn't put that much care into it so thanx for saying something I'm sure it's better now. My sight isn't really bad so I guess I have a if I can read it or see it, it's fine type of theory. Well hope you and the boys all take care we'll keep you posted.
