Stewards

Everything went well yesterday with the actual surgery. The Dr. said that both his adenoids and tonsils were enlarged, so it was good that they came out. He had a really rough time in the recovery room, but was able to calm down with Matt. He was in quite a bit of pain yesterday throughout the day, but was able to sleep much of it. Tylenol with coedine is good stuff, except for when it's wearing off. He hasn't been very good at eating/drinking anything. Even his juice and popsicles are a battle. So, please pray that he had a good night (I've been home with the baby, but am heading up now) so that he'll take more fluids in orally. They left the IV in all night, I guess they typically take it out of the kiddos by now. He's also having diarrhea from the antibiotic they're giving him, so that's also dehydrating him. When the pain meds work I can recognize my little boy- otherwise it's kinda hard. But, going home will be a very good thing today- hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later.
