Is it 2009 yet?
So, this season is hard this year. Is it over yet?? I'm truly ready for it to be & it hasn't even started really. It couldn't feel less like Christmastime for me than if it were the 4th of July. With everything going on in my family and in my household right now, Christmas is the last thing on my mind or in my heart.
Which is so sad because it's normally my favorite time of year. I really and truly pray that Jackson is better by next week or else Christmas won't be worth it at all. This post isn't meant for you to feel sorry for me, or ask a bunch of questions that I won't answer. If you're close to us, you already know.
I guess I'm just letting you all know that my family appreciates your prayers & that, if you're among our gift recipients, don't be surprised if you get a gift card this year. I know- tacky, but I'm sorry in advance. Christmas shopping just seems like another chore right now, as well as baking cookies, writing our Christmas letter or even taking our Christmas picture. I'm just exausted physically and emotionally. And we still have 9 days left! Is it 2009 yet?
