Any Hints?

I know I'm only one day over-due, so it's really not a big deal yet, but I'm sick of waiting :) So, anyone have any hints to get things going? I can't guarantee I'll try anything, but I may try some suggestions. Just comment or email me if you've got anything good! (I'm not too into talking on the phone these days.) I've already done several things people have suggested. The biggest one is prayer obviously, and walking :) I know that no matter what I try, this boy won't come until he's good and ready. We're just trying to decide how long we'll wait until we'll schedule since induction with medicine is not an option due to being a VBAC. Thanks for the prayers! Maybe today will be the day! A 9/9 birthday wouldn't be a bad thing. :)

Oh- and a BIG congratulations to our friends (and old Durango "landlords") Anissa and Henning (and big brother Luka) Schymik on their new arrival Renya! Her VBAC was successful- a HUGE encouragement to me!

Castor Oil. I've never seen it not work.
Hook yourself up to a breast pump for a while.
    Drink Red Raspberry Leaf Tea
Take Evening Primrose Oil (orally and well, you know)
That's about all I've got for now. Are you dilated, thinning, anything? Email me if you need anything lisafdoula@yahoo.com

Yup, Lisa said all the things that I tried to get Oliver out. But then again, he was 9 days late... we didn't do the castor oil thing. But I heard that works like a charm.

Well, castor oil didn't work to deliver this little guy's daddy, but cleaning out the system wasn't a bad thing either.

We're all as anxious to meet our special little guy and know that he'll be well worth the wait, however, I understand your concerns with waiting "too long" to let nature take it's course. I would fully support you scheduling a c-section as soon as you're ready. You certainly put in enough labor with Jackson, and the most important consideration is the safe delivery and retaining your health and little "Jeeb's" health.

Whichever way you decide, you know that we'll support you ALL the way!

Love you, and want all the best for you and Matt and Jackson!

    Love,
    Mom S.

hahaha - you know I'm teasing. Patience, young grasshopper. I know that's MUCH easier to say from my side of the room! You'll get there, baby. Thinking of you guys and praying like crazy!!!
